Qualified candidates must possess the following:
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
  • Medicaid/Provider Number (NPI required)
  • Ability to pass a Level II background check
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail with accurate and timely documentation
  • Ability to collaborate professionally across disciplines to advocate for each child’s needs
  • Fluent in English; bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply

As an RBT with SMART ABA, you will play a vital role in helping children reach their potential by delivering high-quality, individualized care under the supervision of a BCBA or BCaBA. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Implementing individualized ABA treatment plans as directed by a supervising BCBA/BCaBA
  • Delivering 1:1 direct ABA therapy using evidence-based techniques
  • Applying core ABA principles such as reinforcement, prompting, shaping, and fading
  • Teaching a wide range of skills including:
    • Communication and language
    • Social interaction
    • Daily living and adaptive skills
  • Creating a fun, motivating, and supportive environment that encourages engagement and learning
  • Collecting data during sessions and inputting progress into an online system for analysis and review
  • Effectively managing and minimizing challenging behaviors using proactive strategies and intervention protocols
  • Collaborating with caregivers, teachers, and family members to promote consistency across all settings

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Valid State License
  • Valid Medicaid provider and NPI number
  • Current Level II fingerprint clearance card
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized behavior programs

At SMART SCHOLARS ABA, our BCBAs are leaders in driving meaningful progress for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental needs. As a BCBA, you will play a vital role in designing, supervising, and overseeing effective ABA treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and oversee ABA treatment programs tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals
  • Train and mentor RBTs, caregivers, and other professionals on the implementation of treatment plans
  • Conduct face-to-face supervision sessions with clients and their assigned RBTs
  •  Lead team meetings to discuss client progress and refine treatment strategies
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and write measurable, individualized goals for each client
  • Develop initial assessments, progress updates, and reassessment reports to ensure clinical accuracy and compliance
  • Consult and collaborate with caregivers, educators, and school staff to generalize skills across environments
  •  Perform other related duties as assigned to support client success and team performance
